Hi everyone, Hope you've had a good week, it's really flown by for me and of course it's a bank holiday weekend for most of us! Coming up on the show this week we'll be hearing from Paul Martin presenter of the antiques show 'Flog It' and finding out more about Heritage Week. We're also chatting about the Evangelical Alliance's Square Mile and Christians Against Poverty's Ultimate Challenge. There's still more...we'll be hearing the amazing story of how five hundred thousand Bibles have been given out to school children in Ghana, and we'll continue with a special series tracing the church roots of many of our top football clubs. Football historian Peter Lupson will be sharing the story behind newly promoted Barnsley FC. Don't forget if you want to get in touch with me then just log onto my page and hit the 'Contact Me' button. God Bless Catherine |

Hi everyone, Hope you enjoyed the show this weekend - in case you missed it we chatted about everything from how we can grow enough food to feed ourselves as well as the advantages of organic farming in the third world. Later on we found out more about how to do 'Garden Cinema' - you do need some sunshine for it to work of course!
We also began a new series with football historian and author Peter Lupson, he's written a book called Thank God For Football which traces the church roots of some of our top football clubs. He began by sharing the story behind Aston Villa, this coming Saturday he'll be telling us more about the roots of Birmingham City.
Thanks to everyone who got in touch this week it's always great to hear from you and don't forget you can e-mail me by hitting the contact me button on my homepage. Have a great week and God Bless.
Catherine. |
